This week the star of the week is Lincoln - for excellent self control.

This term we are doing a production called the Button Box. The country we are studying is Samoa.

This week we have improved heaps in our reading.

Every Friday Ava and Jose have been visiting the animals at the SPCA.

We love doing folk dancing every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.

I hope you all had a nice, relaxing holiday.

The letter of the week was 't'. On Friday we made toast. 

We have finished our self-portraits.

* Talking Topic: Children are to bring a baby photo and share it to the class.

Swimming sports is on Wednesday 20th Feb. Children will be at the town pools at 11am until 1pm. At 1pm we will then go for a picnic at the park. 

We had so much fun at Riversdale Beach on Friday. Thanks to all the parents and grandparents that came and helped. 

Star of the week: Week 2. Jada is new to Solway Primary. 

She had made a great start at her new school.

Star of the week: Week 3. Katelyn has made a positive start to the school term and is arriving every morning with a smile of her face.

 

On Friday 15th Feb we are going to the beach. 

Things to remember:
* Leaving at school at 8.30am and returning by 3pm
* Remember to bring togs, towel and sunscreen and lots of food and water for the day. 
*  Children are to wear school uniform and sunhat.
